Small Sayings...

Have you ever noticed those small saying that people seem to use and have unspokenly claimed as their own? They are the only person that seems to use them and they use them often enough that it becomes involuntary.

It recent was brought to my attention that i am particularly fond of answering people with, "I know, yeah!" and am becoming more self conscious of saying it over the course of my normal day, as are those around me, my boyfriend makes sure to highlight that i have said it through an imitation even if only to highlight myself to what i had said.

Since beginning to watch my small saying i have also started listening to other people, my boyfriend sister for example like to answer any question whether it fits or not with "Good, Fanx!" I am quite intrigued as to the way she can say it and you just know that the word she used was not 'Thanks' but 'Fanx.'

I notice my Housemate when confused about who a person or a group are exactly asks the question, "Who are they when they're home?" Which i find extremely funny as the boganish Australian in her voice seems to be shining though extremely bright as she says it.

Is it just me that notice these small saying or do other people have them too...?

Funnier Old Ladies Joke

This is to prove to Joshua that there are funnier old lady jokes than his :)

Coffee Cup

On a day trip from a nursing home, two buses carrying elder people stopped at a rest stop.
Two old ladies each from a different bus decided to have a coffee and end up sitting with each other at a table in the rest stop.

The first old lady decides to make conversation,

"So did you come on the other bus?"

The second old lady looks startled and leans in close to whisper,

"Yes, but i managed to disguise it as an asthma attack..."

New Favourite Song

I think it's the keyboard in the background but i can't help but love to listen to the new Justin Timberlake song, Summer Love... too bad there is no clip for me to show :)

Random Work Thoughts...

Bored in a call centre late at night... tends to make your mind wander...

How many people are bustling around in the streets below my building.

What everybody else in the world is doing.

Where would I be if I were straight... this one stumped me... thinking back i would be no where near where I am now if I was. I would probably still be at home, going to university, casually working, and being boring.

Coming out is a great experience and it is something that changed my life and opened up so many possibilities, new friends and family and obviously a new relationship.

Since this time last year, when i first started to come into my sexuality I have done so much that I would never have done, including going to Mardi Gras, visiting gay clubs, and just plain enjoying my life a lot more.

Interestingly coming out has been a relief and a I recommend it, don't hide away, people now are accepting and helpful, I have not met a close minded person yet who would choose to end a friendship with me over this. Why limit yourself to outdated conformity... be unique, well it's not so much a unique thing now days, be daring and expand your life to create better opportunities!
